| I have now purchased the ABBA 400kg Superbike lift.After placing the order i received an e-mail from Steve at ABBA explaining that the stand was'nt a perfect fit for the 749/999,because there was nowhere for the front part of the lift to steady the fore and aft motion caused by most of the weight being held at the swingarm pivot.He also mentioned and sent me pictures of what a previous customer had done to enable it's usage with a 749/999 bike.Bit of a bodge,but i'll get my mate to fabricate a bracket out of tubular or box section steel.I know i could have got a ramp but i think it still needs a stand of some sort to change the wheels and it would take up too much space.What do you think? |
