I feel sorry for Collingwood and Hoggard.

Their terrifiic achievements in this match are now in danger of being largely forgotten, overtaken by the ineptitude of their team-mates.
Yes, Strauss was unlucky to be given out, as was Harmison, but these things even out over a series, and anyway I reckon the standard of umpiring has been generally pretty good. England totally failed to show the sort of positivity that Australia showed in their second innings, and paid the price.

No-one can say the Australians didn't deserve their win. When you have the best bowler in the world at one end, and Brett Lee steaming in at the other, you always have a chance, and clearly the Aussies had the self-belief to achieve this remarkable victory.

I fear that may be the closest England come to a win in this series.
