just been twiddling my fingers at work this afternoon (and with a 1 hour in 8 hour limit on the internet each day!) I thought you might have to see the doggerel I was writing

The DSC and the forum,
They are both well known
Of all the clubs in the UK - the DSC wears the crown

If you take a look
All over the message board
You will find lots to help you - And much more besides.

You’ll find the ride-outs posted
They take place all year.
Unlike the DD racing – just the better months for the little dears

I started the year at JHP,
For their open day,
Caught up with old mates, and also did the Northern warmer on the way home.

The Surrey mini-mega–meet
Was run again on Easter day
Now an annual event in the diary – almost 100 popped in on the day!

A secret ride was posted
It meant getting up early
But as I found it meant a good larf – out all day on the bikes

We had a 2 day trackday -
So off we went to Cadwell Park.
Weather was quite kind to us – at least we didn’t all get soaked!

In between all of this,
We went to several race tracks
To take part in the racing – with the lovely DD chaps

Now it is the winter
and so we meet up sometimes for meals
on the cold evenings – still good to meet up with friends
