When the bike first leaves the factory there is a large silver sticker covering the rubber bung. Drools on about DIY chip change invalidates your warranty etc hence the "void" thing. Don't worry about it, get in there and get that chip changed.
Your local dealer will probably be only too happy to supply you with a replacement sticker if it really bothers you.
