praps a bit different coz this is europe but...watch the imort tax...
this guy was told by the derbi dealer in spain (I think) that paying the tax in the country where you bought it and an additional export tax for european purchases was all he needed to do. He purchased the bike, brought it through customs who said the paperwork was sound but upon registering the bike for it's UK plate he was sent a bill for £500 from customs for import tax. the UK is dead dodgy when it comes to importing goods from other countries and it excludes itself from said taxes to add it's own...Just be careful!
the guy ended up paying more for his little bike than the Uk dealers RRP!
