| Exhaust Re-assembly
OK, I have got my system back from the polishers. I spent a good two hours yesterday trying to get it back on the bike. The Double collector pipe (??) connects well to the front cylinder pipe but not very well to the rear cylinder section. Tried tapping with a hammer but not much joy. When I finally got the double section bolted up, I was able to line the offside end can up correctly but the nearside can looks well out! I think it is being pushed wide by the original double pipe - rear cylinder joint. Has anyone got any tips for this? Should I be using exhaust joint paste to seal the joints? Any pointers will be mostly appreciated.
