Hard to say, really, DJ. Brake discs wear out in one of three ways: [list=1][*]They warp (obviously you'd know if they are)[*]The carriers wear around the bobbins and the discs begin to rattle badly (again, easy to spot)[*]They become thinner. The minimum thickness should be stamped somewhere on the carriers. Measure them with a set of calipers and if they are below the minimum, replace them[/list=1] Other than that, keep using them. They can get glazed but you can use a scotch pad to bring them back. Hope that helps. |
