Add a picture under your name or signature
A picture under your name in the left column is called an 'Avatar' - a picture in the right hand column under the text you type is called a signature (this can be text, pictures or both).

To set either of these up, click on 'Control Panel / Options' at the top right corner of your screen and then choose 'Edit Profile'.

Avatar
You have the choice of either linking to another web sites image or loading your own avatar onto the DSC system.

To link to another website, type the web address of the picture you want in the avatar box. ie, http://www.............
NOTE - you must have saved the picture you require onto a web site somewhere. Many ISP's provide you with some webspace which could be used for this purpose. Please keep avatars to a maximum of 155 pixels wide - if they are wider than this they will not appear.

To load your own avatar, click on the browse button to locate the image on your PC and the system will automatically link the avatar into the correct place. Only JPG and GIF format images are accepted and keep the size to less than 155 x 155 pixels.

Signature
If you want an image on your signature, you need to define the location of your picture as follows:

Again make sure you have stored your picture on a web site and keep image sizes to a small compact size - large pictures will slow the system.

If you only want text, just type it into the box provided.
