So, not having £520 spare notes I bought EBC ones instead and now John is struggling to fit them because they don't seem right for the bike - something about getting in the way of the Speedo cable.
So, if I can get this fiasco sorted out I will be joining you - if not, I think it would be just too sad to turn up on my GPZ500
If anyone has any experience/tips about fitting EBC's to a Superlight I would be really grateful to hear from you.

you are not alone with this problem, many off us have suffered with it, I renewed the bobbins even though i didnt need to and went to another mot station that knew what they were doing, problem solved.
it's not just SL owners that are afflicted by this problem, it affects any duke fitted with the cast iron 10 bobbin full floating disk. SL's SP SPS's etc. if it full floats its going to shake rattle & roll.
it pays to be persistant with the mot's. providing the disk your going to retro fit are the same size and offset, and thickness , you should.nt have any probs fitting them.
