A far as I'm aware a 180 steers much quicker than a 190.... or am I missing something?

correct me if im wrong but a 180/55 steers quicker than a 190/50 predominantly because of it higher profile ie 99mm compared to 95 for a 190/50.

now a 190/55 will have a profile of 104.5 so it should steer quicker and also offer a greater contact patch. obviously tyre weight will have an impact too.

for whats its worth the 190/55 should ideally be on a 6 inch rim, not a 5.5 .
