You'll be fine, I did my test on my 17th birthday, had only been (legally) riding on the road for a year, passed with no probs - and I know what I was like at 17!
Hint, if you lose the examiner thru traffic he has less time to test you
No reason to be nervous, after all, its not like you ain't ridden a bike before!
