Welcome Rocker

I'll have a virtual pint of Pedigree.
On a more serious note, I think Board Etiquette is of prime concern, as all who have followed the recent thread that I thought was, to say the least, OTT to a degree that I had to complain vociferously, the MT or other DSC Members should have the option to request "pulling" anything that is beyond the bounds of common decency.
Think of it like this.
One/. Would it be publishable in the local newspaper?
Two/. If you received a mail like this, would you be extremely offended?

If the answer to either is Yes, then some sort of censorship may be applied
Please note that I have used the terms Option, may, etc, so that this means it is not a "right" but could be applied where necessary
Big Brother Watching You, well yes to some degree, but as an open forum we as members must surely be aware that litigation could be applied if someone went so OTT that an individual thought a lawsuit could be brought.
Slander and Libel (Slander for spoken untruths, and Libel for written untruths) are not so uncommon these days, and as I tried to point out before in another thread, written includes letters, e-mails etc.
Maybe Im overcautious, but in this lititigous age, we need to monitor ourselves.
MT and Members, what say you.
As an example, Ive held back on a company that have done work on my machine and failed miserably to live up to their written and spoken promises, but I have refrained from ****ging them off in public.
OK maybe this mail from me is over the top, but if we cant monitor ourselves, who will and what will the people we are trying to attract think??
Regards
Mort
