| Just put 'em back together with a smear of Copa-Slip, nothing else.
If you drop sealing paste in there, because of the type of connection and "tight" fit, you'll never get them apart again.
Before you assemble them though, it's worth scraping the "female" joints out with some wire or such like to get all the carbon and muck out. |
