| Not in the same league, but when I bought my 800ss last year it was a brand new model at the time and I had exactly the same problems. Although yours is probably because of the "R" at the end, mine was a cc issue, "we've got a 750ss or a 900ss are you sure it's not an import." was all i kept hearing.
In the end I scoured the ads in MCN and after about 10 calls I came across a company called Insure, the guy on the phone took my details, did his homework and phoned me back about an hour later with a very competitive quote.
