Thanks for advice Daz. I have another solution though - I shall be going on my Fazer! Two main reasons for this: 1) The number of clutch operations will not result in chronic wrist ache - the Fazer clutch plate/basket life is much greater than that of the Duke and cheaper to maintain! 2) I have taken the rear footrests off the Duke and fitted rearsets, etc. so my other half can only ride bareback now - I dont mind, but she seems to have a problem doing this sort of thing (can't understand why - she is just being unreasonable me thinks)!
