I've never seen mine go above 60 degrees C. It actually went below 40 when it started raining and I was on a dual carraigeway doing about 60mph.
I have since put a padded envelope in front of the cooler, oil temps goes above 90 degrees in traffic now and about 70 when moving.
I suppose this is a feature of oil cooled engines when the manufacturer couldn't be bothered to fit a thermostat ... |
