Got first hand knowledge on this one, unless they have changed the law recently the way to go is to deny they were driving and say they cannot name for sure who was. They will be prosecutrd for withholding evidence which carries three points and an average £250.00, better than a ban.
Three lads I ride with have all gone this route when caught at high speeds over the last couple of years and all got off the ban.
