This is a big problem at this time of year, booking ahead is essential to get round the big wait problem. You could try some other dealers or maybe a specialist but it's a dificult call if you want to stick with a place where you are happy. I don't practice what I preach but sometimes dealers will do deals on services in low season as it were. It doesn't matter too much if you go a few miles over, it's a matter of whether or not you think there are risks attached. If you are about to run out of warranty and want a service before the deadline then you have little alternative to 1. offer huge amounts of cash to jump the queue. 2. Lay on the dealers floor holding your breath/screaming/crying until they book yer bike in sooner, etc, etc Hope this helps!! Ray. |
