| I replaced the new one on the 750 with an old one off a 900. The new tank pad is thinner and also slightly longer by a couple of milimetres..
I cant say I have had trouble with the reach since changing it...( I'm the same height)
but be warned about the relocater on the tank...It is bigger on the old SS than the new one so you might have to "hollow" the hole a little more.
AND good luck getting the old pad off...
...sigh...I ruined my nails and had terrible skin for days!:P |
