"Frank, With all the parts (belts,shims,filters,plugs) I think £225 should cover it. To be honest its a while since I've done a full 2 valve service, most people just want me to do the belts and shims. No problem though. If you let me do yours I promise it won't be over that (unless some none service parts are needed) and if it goes quicker than I think and few shims are needed I'll be honest and reduce the cost. I'll give you a printed out service sheet detailing all checks and parts used.
My background is that I got into Ducatis when I was chief engineer for the 5-7 Racing that raced the ex-Devimead Ducatis in the '96/'97 seasons. Since then I've got into servicing Dukes and due to redundancy am looking at setting up a business looking after them. I use all genuine parts and have technical back up form JHP Ducati Coventry. I can get you other stuff too (pads chains etc) and get it MOT'ed if you need it.
Hope this makes it worth bringing down, I'm easy to find at Rothwell which is just off the A1-M1 link road.
