Took the day off yesterday and went for a run to the coast. On the way back the rev counter started to read erratically and eventually stopped. I was passing Ron Parkinson m/c's and stopped to take the cable off and get a new one (I assumed the cable had snapped again). But no, the cable is fine. Put it back and all worked ok for the next few miles.... then stopped working again. Any ideas?
