So - for ages biking groups have quite rightly been trying to convince the powers that be that engine size/power does not affect accident statistics adversly. Then MAG (who should know better) give them this kind of ammunition. I know this may have come over wrong, as is often the case, but it does seem like a stupid thing to say!
Unless of course MAG are going to get government funding for every sportsbike rider to go to the CSS or Ron Haslam race school - as if.
