| End float on the shaft should be 0.1mm +/- 0.05mm. Does the shaft rotate OK? Could be a bearing that has gone? If not, then it's down to the shimming of the shafts.
Spotted this on a customers bike and after a lot of arguing with Ducati I believe he got it rectified under warranty. The shaft had never seen a shim!!!
Have you seen any "shim like" bits in the oil? It could have broken and fell out? |
