As Antony says it depends on the engine, if its a genuine SS engine then it will have either the early 2.28 to 1 primary drive and use rear sprockets in the region of 38 to 41, in which case the chain length should ber 98, if its the later SS engine with 2 to 1 primary then sprocket sizes that I used were 41 to 43 which gives a chain option of 98 or 100 link Dallas's bike hasa 1999 Monster 600 engine in it with the 1.85 primary so has to use bigger rear sprockets and a 100 or 102 link chain Checkout the Desmo Due Paddock on Facebook |
