Donny Update

just picked this off the New Era forum, it says its

Moto 6 - Updated Marshals info

But may prove useful to others

Dear Colleague
Further to a meeting of the organisers of the forthcoming Moto 6 meeting a number of important changes have been made to the running of this meeting. Please note the changes detailed below.

Entry to the circuit:
This is via the main entrance, adjacent to Coppice Corner, not the entrance from Melbourne Lane. From the main entrance proceed past the Exhibition Centre along the outfield road to the paddock gate.

Camping
This is in paddock three. Enter via the main paddock gate and this is on the left hand side. Please leave the grass area for those camping. Caravans to use the hard standing area further inside the circuit. We are endeavouring to supply electric hook ups for this meeting, but at the moment, this is not guaranteed. Further information as it becomes available will be posted on the New Era Forum www.neweranc.ning.com

Signing on (THIS IS FOR MARSHALLS ONLY)
Signing on will take place in the portacabin outside the paddock gate and not in the media centre as previously advised. You will only need to sign on once for the whole weekend and not each day as any normal club meetings. It is vital, therefore, that if you sign on for Saturday and are not intending to attend on Sunday, you must let us know so that we can maintain the minimum numbers required for each post on the Sunday.

Signing on times (THIS IS FOR MARSHALLS ONLY)
• Friday 27th March 5.00 - 7.30 p.m.
• Saturday 28th March 7.15 – 8.15 a.m.
• Sunday 29th March 7.15 – 8.15 a.m.
Breakfast and lunch
You will be given vouchers for breakfast and a packed lunch for each day. These to be redeemed at the paddock cafe bar each morning. Please ensure that you finish your breakfast and collect your lunch ready to be on post at least 20 minutes prior to on track activity. Please also remember that due to there being no access to the majority of the infield due to construction work, this may take longer than normal. We are looking at providing a shuttle service from the Melbourne Loop both at the start of the day and at the end. Again further info on this will be made available on the forum, or at signing on.

Saturday night Social Reception.
Donnington Park has arranged a social function on Saturday evening. All riders, marshals and officials are invited to attend. This will be held in the Paddock Suite in the middle of the paddock. Official timing is from 6.00 to 9.00 p.m. although it will probably close somewhat later than this.
Each marshal will receive two free tickets to the event, which entitles you to free food. I understand that the menu is meatballs and pasta with foccacia(?) bread. Additional tickets will be available for purchase if needed. The food vouchers will also be valid in the paddock Café Bar (which is stopping open into the evening) and Redgate Lodge. Redgate lodge is also open on Friday night.
