I remember flicking the pads back in the calipers on the flip-flop after Edwinas going up the hill towards the hairpin. The bike resented the full-throttle direction change & shook its head. A second stab at the brake lever going into the hairpin solved the problem, no drama's. I've had it happen a few times on the 620, but never got on with a steering damper on anything other than the R1. Might be worth a try for Druids at Oulton, sold mine ages ago.
