Doesn't seem much can be done about it, BT seem to be able to do feck all about it, even though it's illegal to pester you once you've said you don't want these calls |
If it is an actual person on the other end I find a nice loud whistle (police type is favourite) to be very effective. On the other hand you could always just ask them to hold on a minute and then leave the phone off the hook.....................they are paying for the call not you.
