| Hi Jason, one mod I used (but cant remember where I got it from) was to pull out the rubber grommets in the tube and use a single very long bolt that is the full length of the tube + a little extra.
I found a supplier that sold bolts longer enough that with a few washers and a nyloc nut on the end I could get a rock solid fit.
