Got the Pm and here's my answer

NO nd thats without considering any offset changes.

As you can't fit them in a SS type frame without Custom yokes then it can't be applied right across Class A
Originally forks weren't adjustable so those that had the money to spend with Maxton and the likes could take advantage of the rules as they were.

I opened it up to allow adjustable showa or Marzocchi forks from OEM Ducati that fit in the standard yokes, these include the following Monsters, STs and Supersports M900, M900ie M1000ie, S4 and S4R, 1000S2R then there are the ST2, ST3, ST4 and possiblty the ST4S, along with 900SS, 900SSie, 1000SS and possibly some of the sports classics,

So not the shortest of lists and when considering changing Class A to adjustable forks these sort of things were considered

Also the 43mm later forks are the same diameter tube as the superbikes so I suspect its possible to use parts from the superbike forks in the non adjustable forks

I currently have a set of 748 forks on ebay at £120, yet I've just paid the same for a set of ST4 forks for the M620 and could do with another set for my second 620SS. So I could try swapping bits about but as I've never had a issue sourcing forks that comply with the rules I'll just sell one set and buy another

Closing date for suggested changes the rules was November 5th as per the 2011 rule book, but a week before that there were calls for the issue of the Class A rule book. Now there are calls for more changes
As usual in the off season there are a small few that want the rules changed to suit them where as the majority accept the rules as they are and get on and build their bikes accordingly.
