Thanks for that. What I'm not sure about is how much to offer the insurance co if they decide to write off, which they will I'm sure. Let's assume they offer (for the sake of argument) £10k, how much should I offer for a bike that needs £7500 of new parts to fix. I'm aware that I could get it sorted for less than half that, but never written a bike off before so all advice welcome.
