If you're upgrading the brake m/cyl - its probably worth installing seperate brake lines for each caliper at the same time.
I've done this and whilst I can't be sure of its absolute benefit as I did it whilst changing the m/cyl - I'm assured it offers considerable benefit over the standard t-type brake line setup.
