| I worked a scanner on Friday at one of the count centres in London - scanned in ballot papers for GLA, London Mayor, and Euro elections... nothing interesting in that, other than getting to see the candidates nervously wandering around watching and waiting for the results... Blimey... some of them didn't even look capable of dressing themselves properly - I'd hate to trust them to look after my well-being!!
On a more interesting note - the quote of the day - "If elections changed anything, the Government would ban them".
And yes, I did vote this time but only because I had a postal vote - I wouldn't have made the effort to go out and do it, so maybe postal voting's a good thing?? |
