Have you been using diagnostic on the bike and reversed the flylead polarities?

This is a common problem on the Ducatidiag forum caused by flylead reversal. It's not terminal and can be cured by simply running a wire from the centre wire in the diagnostic connector (-ve) to the -ve terminal on the battery.
