| 916 cooling
Hello,
New owner (and member) here. The temp gauge on my 1995 916 appears to measure in Farenheit with 180degF (82.2degC) being in the middle of the range.
Last Sunday (warmest day of the year so far, ambient temperature probably around 26-27degC), in traffic the needle got up to 210degF (98.8degC) ).
Is this normal?
Once out of the towns and villages it slowly crept back to nearer 180deg.
Is there anything(s) I can check?
Coming from a background of classic Minis, anything over 75degC frightens me to death!
