Moving the rear indicators to hide them in the air vents has been done...but 'hide' is the operative word. You can't see 'em for toffee. Now call me Mr Picky, but I like my indicators to be seen by others, especially car drivers. I just don't like the thought of a car trying to come round the inside of me if I'm turning right at a roundabout or on the outside if I'm turning left. Don't much fancy being caught behind a slower moving vehicle just before I take a left off a Motorway slip road and having somebody who's had a clearer run at the exit blasting past on the inside because they didn't see I was turning off. Despite mirrors and 'lifesavers' it can happen very quickly. I don't much care for the industrial sized indicators that come standard, but I don't like hidden ones or miniscule ones like Kellermans etiher (you just can't see those things clearly even if you're following close behind). Similar sized ones to the motrax stuff seem to be a reasonable compromise and are bright enough to be seen |
