800ss Racer Dyno results

Nipped over to OTC Racing in Widnes today run by Pete Alton who racers side car and did a 102mph lap at this years TT. His customers include the likes of Michael Dunops supertwin, Cameron Donalds etc and some HRC BSB stuff plus many more and came highly recommended. he also has a 999s road bike so I was confident that I would be in safe hands.

Results after a bit of re map work, fiddling, trim checking, throttle setting on PC3 etc are:

BHP 71.42 8346 rpm (Class limit 72 bhp)
Torque 50.33 ft/lb at 6686 rpm

He also smoothed out the fuelling low down adding a few more torquies so it runs very nicely from 3k up to max torque. And we had a very long chat around how humidity, air presure, air temp etc affects fuelling and what to do on a cold wet day, hot dry etc with thr PC3 trim, which I didn't realise.

Now in my book they are SV beating figures so I have no excuse other than rider error.
