At a track hire cost in the region of £20k for the day at Oulton Hottrax will need to maximise the amount of people per group. Each of the 4 groups needs to bring in around £5000.
I think its around 60 allowed per group so DD riders that took part in Friday's practice filled around 35% to 40% of the spaces available with probably 20 to 25 of us booked in. So less than half of what is needed to cover the Green groups costs.
So Yes it is necessary to mix others in with us and as the practice Schedule sheet said it should have been Rookies and other small capacity bikes.
So what the SBK guys were doing in the group I don't know and that goes for a few others also, a situation made worse when its sodden track and they're on Wets and we are on our Road based tyres
And from what I heard yes something was said about the situation
