well ..... i sent them both back. thought it best to start again and buy them both together. i still like the dainese boots but i tried some daytona ones on too this week ..... goretex, 29cm high but just over £200 unfortunately. a very nice fit though. everything i try on seems a little tight around the calf to fit textile trousers in so maybe i just have to resign myself to wearing the trousers outside.
