| Hi Kev, further to our chat at cadwell,got her stripped down now and as you suspected the rear piston/rings have fallen out with each other,rings have left home via a nasty little worm track up to the crown and some small bits have embedded in the head,I think that bit will tidy up with no ill effect
the barrel has small scores but you can feel em with a fingernail so i think its bye bye barrel.
the front pot appears perfect as does the piston and rings
do you have a barrel and piston and do you think I should replace the all the rings anyway please let me know what you think
