Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but there is a noise meter not far off before the start line and that feeds back to the council office and monitored at the track. Your get black flagged and told to get a static noise test after you have made an attempt to lower you noise. The static is just the same as when you get noise tested at ACU test days ( gezzer with a stck X length away from your exaust ) Fail the static and they will let you make more attempts to get it down to 98db. But get caught going past the driveby again too noisy and they will probally send you packing. Kev will know but I'm sure they have a hand held way of doing a driveby test as well. I do know from experiece they spot check all day so dont try and pop the baffels out after dinner. Fecking mad when you hear a 747 come right over you to land next to the track. Craig |
