The you're going to get most when you pull in anywhere is "is your bike alright mate? Rattling a lot isn't it?" Which you can just smile to or explain that you'd be worried if it didn't make that noise - it is a ducati after all. As Skids points out it is actually the dry clutch rattling, which you can make louder by fitting an open clutch cover which look very pretty and come in all colours and patterns.
