| Check that the clutch lever has not been adjusted, preventing the piston in the master cylinder from fully returning.
Mine did this and all that it needed to put it right was to back off the screw in the lever that acts on the piston.
At least this is a dead cheap & easy one to check for starters before you get too technical!
