| Yep, that's right. The law says it must be displayed visible from the left of the vehicle. But pretty much any copper will only require you to be able to produce it on demand. I'd guess they might prefer it in your pocket anyway, to help slow down the theft of them - just say you're doing your bit to fight crime! |
