fitting a Scitsu rev counter

Just bought a Scitsu rev counter (red which I hope was right) and have no idea how to fit it.
Any one able to tell me what I should be doing?
I am a complete noob when it comes to things like this. But I do have some shiny new tools that will hopefully get used!
