| Tesco's insurance is just using the brand name, pretty much like sainsbury's, asda etc for financial services stuff. Virgin for phones etc, etc.
I have just found ways of reducing the Tesco quote I got for the handbrake even more, decline the breakdown cover (already got loads of this with other stuff), Legal cover, I can argue the toss for England already so why pay someone else to do it for me!! no courtesy car and don't pay to protect the no claims, (this last bit would knock over 100 squid off the quote, the no claims isn't mine to lose so this bit got kiboshed)
