| Had a similar problem with mine a few years back. I was advised by the "boys at Silverstone" that the newer version used by the 4-valve brigade fits and is more reliable. Mine's now been one for about 18 months and hasn't given me any trouble since (famous last words...). But, then again, the bike's not been used too much over the past 18 months (1500 miles only). The new version does fit OK, but requires a bit of fiddling to position it nicely as it's a slightly different shape to the old one I had. |
