| Belts are around the £20 for the pukka items, and i get mine changed every 6k or 9 months which ever comes sooner. I have seen some of my old belts after 6k and another 6k i would be shocked if they lasted to the ducati approved 12000 or 2 years.
For the sake of a few quid and a couple of hours of skinned knuckles (not mine but my mechanic's) as the old saying goes
Prevention is better (and cheaper ) than cure. |
