one of the spring posts will have a groove cut in the top, line up the dot on the new plate with it when fitting the new plate....when i took my old plate off i tapped the bearing out (gently) by laying it on two pieces of wood and using a socket the same size as the bearing as a drift to tap out with a hammer...if you get probs, go to the tech section, plenty of clued up people with advice there.....good luck
