I am 5ft 4 and a bit porky, I currently ride a 748, and before that I had a 750ss ie.
Yes they were a bit tall, no they were not lowered and I didn't have a problem. You need to get off to roll it around tho! I just sit over to one side a bit and only put one foot down!
