| PayneP ran a 3 bar pump/tank combo on a Class B carby a few years ago at Brands after breaking the front end off his 620 Injected Class A bike and it ran without any problems, although that was only for one day so in everyday use you it might cause a few carb flooding problems
Easiest option would be to change the fuel pressure regulator in the bottom of the pump to a lower pressure item, then any pressure over that from the pump would bleed back to the tank, changing the pump wouldn't hurt but may not be necessary.
